Client's 2007 - 2010 SATR were late, which were submitted in Aug-14. HMRC has refused to take any action with the information on those tax returns but has cancelled the fixed penalties luckily but kept the determinations where as we were expecting a refund of £2700 instead of HMRC chasing for £8880. There is no information on the letter that we can appeal against the decision. Any suggestion please, what can we do.
