I'm in charge of the apps section of our annual Christmas gadget countdown and am looking for your help to spot cool new apps that I may have missed.
All legal/decent/honest suggestions considered for apps you have enjoyed this year. That includes oldies, but goodies that no phone should be without.
For example, would you share Nigel Mills MP's enthusiasm for Candy Crush?
Many thanks - and I hope you get the ones you want on the 25th!

If you don't mind shelling out for a sweater ...
You could try Digital Dudz.

Quite appropriate for the time of year, can help avoid some of the embarrassment on the day after the night before,
Well duh..
NFL Game Pass
The only way to be able to have quality time with your dog (and eldest cat who comes for a snuggle and to chew the corner of the iPad case) AND watch Miami lose.

Uber/Hailo/GetTaxi
Pushbullet for transferring anything between phone and computer. Particularly good for sending texts from your computer.

Surprised you get any work done - you're so busy playing on your bleedin' phone!
Some good one's in that list though, will have to take a look.
A few of my favourite apps
Flightradar24 - Track aircraft across the world.
MyFitnessPal - Search for (or scan the bar code) of the food you consume and enter the exercise that you do, to calculate how many calories you are adding or losing each day.
RunKeeper - Track the runs that you do.
Health app (built into iOS8 on iPhone 6) - Automatically monitors in the background the number of steps walked, distance walked / run and flights of stairs climbed per day, week, month and year.
Stocard - Scan in all of those store cards that you cram into your wallet. The bar code of each card is stored on your phone.
Sky Map - Point your phone to the sky to find out the names of the constellations and planets that you are looking at.
iPlayer (on iPad) - I use it so much, that I hardly use my conventional TV.
Apps for tablets (or phones with big screens)
BBC iPlayer
4od
Netflix
Google Play TV and Movies
Some tablets, such as the Google Nexus can play films and TV programmes through your TV so you get to watch them on a bigger screen (not 4od though).
myfirmsapp?
Surprised no one has mentioned myfirmsapp?
Obviously they need to send some more emails out......
