Unbelievable!!

Unbelievable!!

Didn't find your answer?

Three days to go - and the power's off !!

No broadband so I'm using a back-up dongle (which is surprisingly good, actually).

No printer -which is the big problem.  And I can only use the computer for another 48 minutes before the battery dies.

Just setting up the hamster wheel for Mrs Lion .........

The short answer is No. They say that you shouldn't have waited until the last minute to file

To be fair, when I made that OP, I wasn't expecting the electricity to be off until Saturday.  And I was right.

Generator?

I bought a generator years ago for that very problem. Cost £400, runs the whole office and only have to pull one plug out (attached to surge extension lead) to get going again. Back up battery attached to PC means it doesn't close down until the generator kicks in. Has saved me many times.

Also have surge protection on phone line to stop lightning knocking out the router and telephone machine from 3 miles away.

But that's just one pleasure of living and working in the middle of nowhere.
