Unpaid share capital - VT Accounts Disclosure

Unpaid share capital - VT Accounts Disclosure

Didn't find your answer?

If called up share capital not yet paid is meant to be disclosed at the top of the balance sheet - is it me or why is this not an option for disclosure in the VT accounts (or am I missing something obvious)? Does anyone have an easy suggestion for including this?

Many thanks.

Probably

because it can alternatively be included under Other Debtors which is what I suspect most do.

Indeed most do!

That's where it always seems to turn up in my experience.

Called up share capital not paid

Yes, VT gave the above answer to me (other debtors) with the rider that they couldn't give accounting advice. It seems strange that CoHouse specifically call for that entry to be singled out and yet it not be in the template. VT did say the alternative would be to add a note labelled appropriately - that would seem more transparent - if it matters!
