IS VAT CHARGEABLE ON AN INSURANCE COST RECHARGE TO NORWAY
AN INSURANCE POLICY HAS BEEN TAKEN OUT TO COVER LOSS OR DAMAGE TO A VINTAGE AIRCRAFT WHICH IS BEING LENT TO A NORWEGIAN MUSEUM TO ASSIST WITH FUND RAISING IN NORWAY. I WISH TO RECHARGE THE MUSEUM THE PREMIUM COSTS BUT DON'T KNOW WHETHER TO ADD UK VAT.
FURTHERMORE, THE AIRCRAFT WILL RETURN TO THE UK TO UNDERGO RESTORATION TO FLYING CONDITION AND WILL BE SOLD TO THE NORWEGIAN MUSEUM. IS VAT TO BE ADDED DURING THE RESTORATION AND AT THE FINAL SALE ?
THANKS IN ADVANCE.
