VAT eprompt reminders for October returns?

We've either got an odd IT issue or HMRC have not issued the usual batch of ereminders for VAT returns October 2014.  Can anyone confirm they've received them as normal before I go rummaging on the server please?

Missing here too

Reminders for the 30th September 2014 returns were, per usual pattern, received here on 23rd September 2014 (ie. ie. a week before the return period had ended).

I've always considered this to be "too early" and would prefer something like a week after the VAT return period end - ie. 7th November for 31st October returns - let's see if this is the new pattern / timescale as not yet seen any reminders for 31st October returns yet here.

Same here

We are also missing our usual reminders.

Like you, DMGbus, I have always felt they were early, and have delayed forwarding them to clients until 1st/2nd of the following month, so it would be good if the issue dates have changed.

I haven't had any either. I thought I was going mad!

Have done a quick search online and can't find any reason why? Have they stopped altogether or this just a blip?

HMRC "problem"

Just got off the phone with HMRC Online services.  There is an "issue" at their end and the prompts have not been sent this month.  Wonder if that will be accepted as a reasonable excuse if one gets missed??

When were HMRC going to tell us?

If HMRC have an 'issue' they should tell us. It would save HMRC and agent time if HMRC announced they had a glitch. I've checked HMRC online services. This issue is still not reported and I guess it never will be. Something similar happened a year or so ago. HMRC tell us to sign up for reminders then fail to send them. This isn't good enough but what is done about it? Nothing.

Yep, didn't get mine. Not happy. I know we have seperate lists but it's a service we've come to rely on.

None here either

I never got my usual batch either and neither did my colleague.  Luckily, we maintain our own lists so I do not think we have missed any this quarter.

... and i hadn't noticed either, to busy with 30/09/14 returns!

IRIS Practice Management keeps track of these though, very satisfying to see the list shrinking as they get knocked when they get filed.
