vehicles

Didn't find your answer?

client is running transport company - moving cars for dealers

they use a normal vehicle with a trailer towed behind rather than a car transporter type vehicle

they have bought a vehicle in the year - Ranger Rover sport

client wants to treat it as a commercial vehicle and claim 100% capital allowances

we think its a car and only eligible for 8% allowances

does anyone have any experience with this type of vehicle

It is a car. It has rear seats, and things that you can see out of. I refer to them as windows.

Discovery
Too late now but maybe he should have tracked down a Land Rover Discovery commercial. No rear seats but a whole lot more comfortable in the tax (and VAT) position.

Haven't we come a long way from the real Land Rover whose demise we mourn today?
