Can someone confirm - straightforward question -  £100 vouchers given to employee for birthday, how should they be treated?

All to be taken as remuneration?

Vouchers for birthday

Where my clients give their staff vouchers for birthdays and Christmas then the client have entered into PAYE settlement agreements with HMRC so that there is no employee liability for tax and NI on the vouchers. These have to be requested from HMRC and once granted renewed on an annual basis.
