Tartes Tatin

I think that Tatin is the name of the hotel that became associated with it, so is a proper noun and should properly be capitalised, so the plural is tartes Tatin.

It was two sisters that invanted it. Their surname was Tatin.

I am no chef, but think the answer is probably right. But what could never be right is one of the answers offered in PNL's question. Never "tarte tatins" - only "tartes tatins".

All wrong

The correct plural would be 'puds'

If you need a taster to ensure the recipes taste good enough...

Something else

The OP is plural, but not as PNL.

wait a goldarn minute - we have missed something vital here

A cookbook aimed at accountants...interesting but what exactly does that mean?

meals that are not taxing...?

Double entry baked Souffles?

Receipts "en papillote"?

Oh - and the sisters were Tatin, so whatever the plural is in French.

Tatin est un nom propre ...
à l'origine donc "des tartes Tatin" (majuscule, pas de s) de préférence.
