Where do PIDs sit in the order of taxation of income?

Where do PIDs sit in the order of taxation of...

Didn't find your answer?

Would someone know where PIDs (Property Income Distributions) from REITs (Real Estate Income Trusts) sit in the order of taxation of personal income. In particular, I am interested in whether PIDs should be taxed before or after interest income. I am assuming that these are not necessarily just in the same grouping as ordinary dividends.

Thanks.

Income from property

These are paid net of basic rate tax - not a notional tax credit of 10% - and taxed as property income.

You do need to see the vouchers as it is possible for there to be an element of ordinary dividends with a 10% tax credit within the payment received
