Xero starter plan

Xero starter plan

Didn't find your answer?

Hi

More of a rant than a question, but does anyone else think that the starter plan in Xero is a waste of time. Clients of our which we start on this plan, end up being booted off this normally in less than a month, 10 sales invoices or purchase invoices is just pathetic. Have any firms been able to request an extension of this package for clients?

Thanks

Agency Clients

I believe the starter package is aimed at Agency type clients, with minimal invoicing in/out. This is what we use it for.

If you know clients are going to be going above the limits why do you suggest they use Starter in the first place?

Because of the cost.

Depends on how you look at it...

...because when we first launched Xero we only had one product and price point, broadly equivalent to today's Standard price plan at £20, and we were then lobbied by very small, low transaction businesses to introduce a lower cost cut down version just for them, which is why we then introduced the Starter price plan.

So, rather than think of Starter being a waste of time, you should regard Xero as being the Standard offering suitable for 80% of all businesses at £20 unless, they're very, very small and suitable for Starter.

In addition, Xero Partners have access to three lower cost client products which are £2, £5 and £9 per month for businesses that don't need invoicing.
