Quick Books and XML invoices

A client needs invoices generated by Quickbooks to be submitted in XML format. Customer wants invoices in XML format. Non compliance seem to be causing delayin paying . Can any readers point me in the right direction where to look for? I have asked the helpline and they say only pdf versions are available.
