Quickbooks 2004 - is the cashflow element any good?

Quickbooks 2004 - is the cashflow element any...

Didn't find your answer?

I am currently using Quickbooks 2003 and am considering upgrading to 2004 for the cashflow element of the package. Does anyone have experience of this and is it any good? Alternatively can anyone recommend a good alternative that can handle both short term and twelve-month rolling cashflow projections.
I have been looking on the net for likely candidates and this seems to be a bit of a tall order...but surely there are projections being made out there somewhere!!!
Help!!! :-{

QuickBooks 2004 Cashflow
The cashflow projector in QuickBooks 2004 covers a 6 week period i.e short term.

The forecast can be based on several options.These include manual, actuals for last 6 weeks or same period last year, average and so on.

It's great if the short term is what you are solving for.

How is the cashflow report presented?
Is the 2004 cashflow report presented the same as in 2003.

I.E. ap/ar/uf and bank accounts on the top and then the period along the side.

Is it possible to get a cashflow report out which shows which account the ins and outs of the transactions went to. A bit like a proper cash flow statement.

TIA,

Jamie Tomlinson
