Reference my message on company accounts

Didn't find your answer?

Just to say I have now agreed an arrangement with a local accountants here, they do the company accounts for my main client anyway so sort of 'know' me. They will give me a percentage of the 1st years fee and recommend me to clients looking for a book-keeper. They can do this straight away as I have done all the books for their Ltd company client for almost 4 yrs.

Thanks to the person from here who emailed me regarding an arrangement, thankyou. It is easier for me to set up with this company as they are local and I have worked with them already.

Thanks again for the advice given at the time.

Congrats, Lynne.
Well done, Lynne. A good solid book-keeper who knows their Debits from their Credits is worth their weight in gold to any business, esp Accountants.
AS to fees, I think you should be getting more thatn just a 5 of first year's fees as, presumably you will be still doing all the book-keeping for years to come. Ae the firsm just doing the Final Accounts/Tax or aslo doing an Audit? if so, the book-keeping fee should be a separate charge to the Co.
