Reference? to support visa application

Didn't find your answer?

And so far I have said no as I wasn't sure what I was letting myself in for.

Here's an extract of what is required:

"vii) summaries from the applicant's managing agent or accountant. These are summaries or explanations created by an applicant's managing agent (who is usually an accountant). These explanations should include a breakdown of the gross salary, tax deductions and dividend payments made to the applicant. The total gross salary and dividend payments should be the same as the applicant's earnings. The payment summary should enable us to check that these correspond with the net payments into the applicant's personal bank account".

Initially I regarded these as references and thought it a bit risky but upon reflection the report is just concerned with actuals.

Normally I would expect an SATR and accounts to do the job. It seems some visa applicants fall outside SATR. The enquiries I've received have been from non clients.

I'd be interested if others have experience of this and whether I should approach it as I would, for example, a request from a mortgage lender in terms of sheltering behind my disclaimers! Things are quiet at the moment so I'm quite reluctant to turn work away ...
