Registering to see tax account online although using Agent

I have given up trying to speak to the HMRC helpline - they've probably all been made redundant.

I have a client whose company and personal tax is done by someone else. The other person is difficult to get hold of as he's forever away and doesn't answer emails. Client would like to be able to see his tax position online.

Can he register for an online account for his personal tax, or will this destroy the agent's ability to file online for him?

registering for personally will have no effect the Agent link

I've never known it to cause an issue.

They can still access it through their own Government Gateway account without any issues.
