Relif for pension contributions paid by a company?

Didn't find your answer?

I have a client who has his limited company pay his net personal pension contributions directly by direct debit. Is this tax deductible in the company accounts or should it be debited to the director's account?

Salary
Directors loan account - settlement of directors liabilities.

Alternatively talk to the pension company about treating them as an employer's payment - which may save on the National Insurance if the DLA isn't stuffed with dividends.
