Didn't find your answer?

Does anyone know the current flat rates subsistence figures agreed between the RHA and HMRC?

Thanks

RHA website has useful data
The following link quotes some figures :-

http://rha.org.uk/adviceandinfo/subsistence-payments-for-drivers/

including : "The amounts of overnight subsistence negotiated and agreed by the Road Haulage Association with the Inland Revenue, effective from 1 January annually, are as follows:

2006 - £27.55 (sleeper cab rate is £20.66)
2005 - £26.90
...75% of the above figures should be used where drivers use sleeper cabs.

These rates are negotiated with the Inland Revenue in January each year, and the new rates are published here."

The RHA website also refers to a mid-day meal allowance frozen at £2.00 for quite a few years, and the tax-free PIEs of £5 UK and £10 overseas where overnight stays are incurred, these £5 / £10 sums being tax-free.
