Running a Practice from Home?

Having recently been house-buying, I have been reminded that most modern houses have a restrictive covenant which says that you are not permitted to run a business from the premises.

I was just wondering how those accountants running a practice from home deal with such restrictions?  Do you ask for permission, or just ignore them?
