My "upgrade" disc did not install properly on 17th March. I hear on the grapevine that quite a few other users had this problem and early on Sage admitted this but said they would sort it out shortly.

They have talked me through all sorts of re-installations of the problem, but some of my Sage accounts programs have subsequently been corrupted.

I had my operating system completely reinstalled this week as the errors were getting so difficult to get around and were even affecting Excel and Outlook (ODBC problems which originated with the payroll).

On trying to reload the payroll program, as soon as I got to the bit about downloading the internet option I had the usual error messages.

I rang Sage, who said there are no issues with this product and that I had a virus on my computer. I have never had a virus on any computer because I have such tight controls. My protection is fully up to date and says my machine is clean.

I still cannot load the internet filing bit of the program, although I can use the payroll without going online for now. Meanwhile I cannot use the PDF option on either the accounts packages or the payroll package.

How do I get Sage to accept responsibility and do something? I have after all paid for the program and support. I have paid a fortune for IT support as well.

Sage have said this morning they will look at my machine and try to sort out this problem, so I am more hopeful than I was.
