Sage year end payroll

Sorry - stupid question I know but whats the difference between a P14 & P60. I am running my year end payrol routine on Sage and am filing on line.

I thought I had to do a P60 for each employee and then file the employers annual return on line. I have just been reviewing the year end forms on the hmrc website to be sure I am filing all forms that I need to and it seems that a P14 is also required - is this correct or is this just a manual version of a P60 ?
