seamless accountancy+online banking

seamless accountancy+online banking

Didn't find your answer?

Does seamless accountancy and online banking exist? How much developement would be necessary to provide a service to clients which would allow debits and credits of accounts to be transparent through an on line banking system doing away with the needless secondary entry of invoices and payments?
Is there any other ideas in the e-commerce sector similar to this?

Down load data to Excel
We use Excel to import bank transactions, then enter the account code etc, split VAT. Excel can summarise transactions at year end for TB. This can also be used for VAT reporting - quick & simple. Only problem is that most banks only allow you to download the present bank statement, whereas it would be ideal to download a VAT quarter

Online Banking/Accounting
Banks of Scotland operate a Business and personal Home and Office Baking System (HOBS) and provided your software can do all the necessary coding of the cost/credit inthe accounts posting (like Moneysoft Money Manager can do, Jay), it should be as straightfoward as posting a SWITCH card entry from the B/Statement in the accounting records of the business.
