  • Only look at the title of threads

Response

It should search every aspect of pages, and give you a full list of results. Are you having trouble with something?

Try this example

Using the following from the initial content of this posting

Search: If you put in a phrase

Newest First

Means that this posting should appear as the first item - doesn't seem to

In fact if you page through all 7 pages - it doesn't appear at all - very strange doesn't seem react as expected

It worked when I did it

I have done just as you said;

Put in the search box "If you put in a phrase" and selected "Newest first" and your posting came out on top.

HOWEVER .............

Just tried with a new search criteria - using IE9 & FireFox

"tried 5 different times yesterday" & Newest First

and guess what - IT DOESN'T APPEAR

So it would seem as though it may be something to do with a time lag - perhaps a re-index overnight which rectifies the situation - mmm......

Looking at it

Yes, I have passed it on to our technical team.  They may come back with some wizardry, but I fear it might be one of those weird glitches which we hope to eradicate with the upgrade.

Watch this space...
