Self employed Pilot

Could anyone please point me in the correct direction, or please advise what expenses a self employed pilot is allowed to deduct from their total income.
Would be most grateful for any help. Need the information as i have received a new client starting up as a self employed commercial pilot/flying instructor/pilot examiner .
