Should we all turn into nightbirds?

Should we all turn into nightbirds?

Didn't find your answer?

Having spent most of the afternoon trying to file PAYE Returns online and having little (and very slow) success, I decided to start again at 10.30pm. I have just succeeded in filing 4 Returns in 40 minutes using the IR's software. Is this a record? 4 times £250 - not bad. Thanks Gordon. But I may have fallen foul of the Working Time Directive.

Els
ELS works well 24/7. Returns are batched so only dial in occasionally, you get a proper acknowledgement that the TR is OK and it avoids the internet completely. HMRC should move away from the internet for professional users

PAYE online
It never works for me during the day - I did my last batch at 9pm last sunday! I have a handful more to do, will probably do them this evening.

I have found the HMRC site to be abysmal during working hours and thus am not touching it now!

I've filed all mine!
Sorry but it's one of those things worth celebrating!!
Spent a large part of yesterday trying and giving up but managed to file the last one at 5.30pm - obviously at that point when all the other frustrated accts have decided to wait til bedtime! This is why we can charge our clients more than 2p for doing it for them - how many non-accts would have the patience?? They should give us the whole £250 :)

Same problems here
Also extended to filing SA100s by FBI. Still no joy on that front.
