Software to cope with changes in CIS rules

Software to cope with changes in CIS rules

Didn't find your answer?

I have a forward-thinking client who is preparing to put software in place ready for the CIS changes in April 2007. It will only need to deal with about 15 people so price is an issue. Sage CIS Controller is one option being looked at, as they use Line 50 for the accounts, but costs more than they wanted to pay. Has anybody got any other suggestions?

Software
Moneysoft payroll manager is very easy to use. They even let you try it out for a month for free!

http://www.moneysoft.co.uk/

It costs £49.95 +vat a year for a single employer up to 20 employees - and that includes support and free up-dates

Moneysoft on a promise
I am also thinking of Moneysoft for contractor clients, but note the comment on their website:

"From 6 April 2007 the CIS system will change completely. Payroll Manager will be made fully compliant with the new system as details are released by the HMRC"

HMRC has released details, but I do not know if Moneysoft has come up with the program yet.
