Specialist tax advice...

Specialist tax advice...

Didn't find your answer?

I really require a service that I can add on to my services.

I know some people use outsourced payroll solutions who really act as a payroll department.

We I require (from time to time) a specialist tax department. Someone who could liase with me and my clients - but who I could trust.

Is there a service? Any recommendations?

Two things
There are many such people around and I'm sure a few will post in response to this (and some regular contributors offer such services).
I've worked in small firms as a technical person and can I just point out one thing that they overlooked? If you have fee protection and/or subscribe to a books/technical info service the chances are they also offer you a free helpline - this may not of course do in depth project work (you could see if they did for a fee) but it might help you with some queries. Check and see.

Also based on my experience in these firms do approach more than one person and ask in detail about fees - like accountancy practices themselves different firms are geared up to offer difference services and this is reflected in the fees. You need to be sure what exactly you want otherwise you may be paying for something you do not want - I'm assuming of course that you would contract for the work and then bill your clients on. If you want the client to have a direct relationship that is another aspect to think about.

Thanks Jane
Yes we have a free helpline. The trouble is that in some cases it would be so much easier for the assistant to ask the client questions direct.

The issue with fees would obviously be a vital one.

Tax consultancy
The main part of my business is providing specialist tax advice to accountants for their clients. I have client accountants in various parts of the country and provide advice by meetings, telephone, email or letter. If you would like to email me, I can send you more information. I have a website (www.raventaxation.com) - which is basic but functional! My email address is [email protected] or call me on 01765 601241. Regards Cathy

tax service
You should shop around and find the ones you feel more comfortable with. Maybe a brief discussion of services and prompt reply to your queries. Or you may also consider having two for different areas or expertise.

Re Chiltern
Is this service £350.00 per annum?

What do you get for this?
