Tas Books 3 v4

Tas Books 3 v4

Didn't find your answer?

Firstly, can anyone advise me on how to allocate a purchase invoice to more than one originating purchase orders?

Secondly, is it possible to raise a single invoice to cover more than one sales order from a customer?

And finally, is anyone else experiencing "bugs" and flaws with the latest upgrade to v4. In particular, the much favoured (at least by me) ability to edit a previously posted transaction, whether in the current period (or even year) or not, seems inconsistent and far more cumbersome to use. For example, it used to be possible to edit a bank transaction without the need to unreconcile it first. Now, it appears, that some bank transactions you can edit whether or not they are reconcilied, but others you are effectivley blocked by a "need to unreconcile" mesage.

I do find the Tas 3 product a better tool than most if not all its competitors in its class, and without doubt v4 has added some much needed functionality, but at what price? Tas 3 used to be £199 not so long ago, and great value for money being affordable to the sort of businesses that it which it was targeted. But now.....

Your help and views would be much appreciated.

TAS Books v4
As a user of Tas Books 2 version 4 there are a few quirks in the latest versions as you have found. The bank reconciliation now tracks edited and deleted transactions which is why you must unreconcile them first before you can edit them. Although this seems irritating at first TAS "remembers" the changes so when you reconcile again the figures all add up - easy peasy, unlike earlier versions where you had to do your sums. This works really well and makes the bank rec much easier for edited and deleted transactions.
