Tax helpline

Tax helpline

Didn't find your answer?

I am a sole practioner and I am looking for a technical helpline to assist me with tax issues. I know they are out there but I haven't found one yet!

I am aware that ICAEW and ACCA offer this service to members, however I am a CIMA member and they do not offer a tax helpline. I am also aware that CCH offer the service if you take up their Fee Protection scheme - I have looked at this but it's not cheap.

Has anyone got any recommendations?

Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew

I provide this service to a number of accountants - either by telephone or by email (many prefer email and few firms provide this service). If you would like to call me (01765 601241) or email me ([email protected]), I will be very happy to giver you more details of how I can help you and your clients.

barclays
I'm not surprised because Barclays processes are totally inept.

I have been waiting since 23 October for the proceeds of a Canadian cheque to reach my premier banking account.. I have established so far that the cheque was not sent to the Canadian bank until 16 November. They are an absolute shambles but unfortunately other parts of the banking swystem are equally inefficient.
