    Angled brackets needed

    Hi there

To use HTML codes you have to place them inside angled brackets (less than and more than symbols, if you prefer to call them that!).

However if I demonstrate by putting something in angled brackets you will not see it 'cos the HTML code does not show visibly in the post!

So to demo it I shall use square brackets where you should put angled ones, OK?

To start something you put it in angled brackets, like [strong] and to finish it you put the same but with a / like [/strong]. (Strong means bold.)

So if I type [strong]hello there![/strong] I get hello there!

If I want italic then I do [em]hello there![/em] to get hello there!

And to get bold italic I do [em][strong]hello there![/strong][/em] and get hello there!.

    Simple eh?

    Test complete!

Unfortunately it's an anonymity thing again!

When you subscribe to the Accountingweb RSS feed, you get a mail in your RSS reader (if that's the right word) showing any new articles as well as any new questions on Any Answers. I marked this question as anonymous, but when the mail came into my RSS reader showing this question, it also showed my user name.

So test was successful, I suppose!
