Time recording

Time recording

Didn't find your answer?

Looking for some new time recording software. Having looked around, Timeslips appears to be coming out on top. Are there any other products that are worth looking at?
Thank you for any feedback.

Timesheets Express
http://www.timesheetxpress.com/

I have used this for 2-3 years now and have been very pleased with it - I am using the free version (at home). I like the fact that you can divide your timesheet down to 5 minute intervals or hourly slots etc - whatever you want. Can email to "supervisor" etc for approval, add expenses - and it links to Sage, Excel, Outlook and others - a good facility to have. You can bill direct from the application - all in all very good value. Happy to recommend it.

Timeslips
I have used Timeslips for donkeys years. Always works for me and I stopped upgrading many years ago. You never forget to record every little detail if you keep it on top of other windows on your desktop. The final fee charged will not necessarily be "what's on the clock" since I review complexity, responsibility and what the client can afford but it is a very useful starting point. I also have some clients on fixed monthly fees but I still record time spent on their affairs to see whether these fees are profitable. Timeslips is a very useful tool that I wouldn't want to be without.

Four Four Time Recording - Many Accounting Web Users

Hi Barry

Four Four Time time logging software has proved very popular with many Accounting Web members. The USP is simplicity, and it appeals to people who do not want complicated systems - and nobody enjoys filling in timesheets! Moreover, it is British (therefore support more easily available), and the least expensive of all we have researched - including systems mentioned previously. (£49.50 - single user.)

With just a click of the "Start" button, Four Four Time will log and report on time worked for

- Time for hourly charging
- Reassuring clients of correct charges (attach the report to your invoice)
- Planning future projects
- Personal time management

Full details of the features and benefits are on the website at www.fourfourtime.co.uk, together with online demonstration, case study, testimonials, ordering and FREE download of 14 day trial copy.

This software has proved so popular that the company is about to launch a new version for use on servers, for multi users on projects. Details of this are not yet fully described on the website, but phone calls are welcome.

Kind regards

Time recording
Timeslips website doesn't mention prices. Why? Is it expensive?
