Travel Agency Accounting Package

Travel Agency Accounting Package

Didn't find your answer?

I have a client currently using an integrated (accounting and 'front-office') software produced by TARSC. Does anyone know of any other, perhaps more user-friendly, off-the-shelf accounting packages available. The software must be capable of dealing not only with the back-office, accounting function, but also the 'front desk' function involving the provision of costings and bookings.
How much would any suggested packages cost?

Travel Agents Software
Have you tried or looked at the software package called "Concord Books"?

Extra info
Roger,

A bit more information.....

1 'front office'
Is this a real time air ticket reservation type system or some 'lower' functioned system merely picking from a pre-set 'menu'

2 type of travel agent
Is this a travel agent who builds package tours and charges accordingly or someone who merely sells from brochures

3 how many users
5, 10, 50.......'front office' and 'accounting'

4 rough budget
software, training, implementation....£1K, £5K, £50K, etc.

We have a few solutions and know of a few, but it is difficult to say without a bit more guidance

Exact Software.....I think
Roger.
I was looking around at software for the organisation I was working for earlier this year, and I think I have vague recollections of Exact Software (www.exactsoftware.com) doing something for the travel industry.

I know their software is very good, as we implemented at Head Office within our £7m p.a. organisation.
The only problem is that it can be a bit pricey..running into the thousands of pounds.. But I don't know what your budget is for this project.
I know they have a very good product available now called E-Synergy.

Hope this helps

Steve
