UITF 40 Dentists

UITF 40 Dentists

Didn't find your answer?

What impact (sorry) does UITF40 have on dentists if any?
Are there any guidance notes/ articles anywhere?
The amounts involved (if any) for an individual must be fairly insignificant. Is it acceptable to estimate the amount involved?

What approach are you all having for individuals who will not have the necessary detailed records to arrive at an "actual" figure?

Extract the details

The dentist should know what treatments are part finished at the year end. He/she has to keep records for reasons other than tax. As you say, the amount will be insignificant in most cases so just ask for a figure that can be supported in the event of an enquiry.
