Unpaid NI from various Schemes

We at Allens represent over 100 Clients in the long running saga of National Insurance due from Bonuses paid "in kind" via Schemes such as Gold Coins, Gold Jewellery and Platinum Sponge. A significant percentage of these Clients have signed "Acknowledgement of Debt" letters from HMRC instead of having a protective writ issued in Court. We are in dispute with HMRC regarding the validity of the above signed letters and are going to Court to have the validity of these letters determined. HMRC have applied for a Group Litigation Order (GLO) in these cases. There are circa 150 other Clients who we do not represent but would be pleased if their Accountants would contact us and join our "Lead" Case thus sharing expense on fees and expertise as we have completed the work that needs to be done.
