Aged Debt analysis using pivot table to summarise position.
* = one month old, ** = two months old, *** = 3 months & older, CURR = Current debts.
Using pivot table to summarise data.
However, want the order to be CURR,*,**,***
Do not want to paste special pivot table as text.
also do not want to replace * by other name.
Attempted to use custom sort but does not seem to work on columns

A 'sort' of answer
Excel seems to sort the columns alpha numerically, and this is how your column names inherit the order. This seems impossible to change (AFAIK).
You could fool it by prefixing the age labels with spaces. Four spaces for curr, three for *, two for ** and one for *** does the trick.
It's not elegant, but that's Excel for you.
