I have a particular member of staff who appears to have taken a liking to playing solitaire on his pc and hitting the boss button when anyone approaches.
Before tackling this it would be useful if I could monitor the amount of time spent.
I'm not wanting to be big brother because if it's just the odd 5 minutes between jobs I wouldn't mind as in all other respects this staff member is fine. If tackled it would be too easy to just deny that it was more than the odd occasion.
I will of course delete the programme when it is resolved.
Is there a utility that can monitor usage of particular software?

I-Spy
There is a company called VisionSoft which makes a piece of software called I-Spy. More information can be found at http://www.visionsoft.co.uk/products/ispy.htm.
I do know that it does cause a couple of issues with some network intensive applications (e.g. Viztopia), but you can obtain a 30day evaluation copy at no cost. All you need to produce evidence as it keeps daily logs!

why not remove the games from the PC,- takes 2 minutes
control panel, add/remove programs,select windows setup tab, untick games and off you go.
Sledgehammer
You can use MS Systems Management Server to do this, but it's a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
There must be other tools, but I don't know what. Sorry.
