Viewing online SA statements of account

Viewing online SA statements of account

Didn't find your answer?

Increasingly in recent months we find that the latest statements of account listed on the HMRC online webpage for certain clients are not available to us when we click on the link from the "statement history". Without exception, on those occasions where we encounter this problem there is a narrative to the right of the link to the statement, on the statement history page, similar to (without the quotes):
"pdf (9.591 Kb)"

I telephoned the online services helpdesk, who unhelpfully confirm that they do have a problem logged of this nature, but no fix is yet available. The trouble is, we started noticing this phenomenon some months ago, we reported it to the helpdesk at that time and had much the same response even then.

If I right-click on the link and choose "Save Target As ..." then I immediately get a pop-up error message "Internet Explorer cannot download ... No such interface supported [OK]"

I am using a Windows XP machine with IE version 7 (we had the same problem when IE version 6 was installed). Also have Acrobat Reader 7.0.7 installed.

Am I alone?

Sa pdf files and impossibility to view
Ah!
I had this same problem but with WindowsMe and IE6.

O-line help desk over several days trying out their guidance e.g. eliminate all adobe acrobat files and re-load after restart.

Eventually help desk said it must be aprolem with my IE and suggested I download Firefox.I did and I now use Firefox for viewing thr Revenue pdf files-it works!

E-mails to/from Microsoft were a waste of time and I had already spent hours trying to rectify what is now highlighted as a problem with Revenue site=but they did not tell me that!

Incidentally I had no problem viewing other sites pdf files via IE6.I thought it might be due to my !older" systems and inability to use Adobe acrobat 7 wich only works with XP.Now I know XP users have same problem. When are Revenue going to admit their problem by posting a notice on their www?

Me too
Yes, we've had problems looking at the pdf versions of the statements, and that is using Firefox. I haven't bothered with the help desk, as any time I have contacted them they simply shift the blame to this end. Not sure who dreamed up the term helpdesk.

Today, I can't get in to the site at all to look at balances, or to file accounts.
