Virus attack

Virus attack

Didn't find your answer?

I receive almost daily emails from [email protected] which fortunately so far have been intercepted by Norton Anti virus.

Each time they land they are infected by a different virus to the previous emails.

So far I have not been able to find out why they are being sent, or indeed where they are coming from.

It may seem a bit paranoid, but is there such a thing as a web based contract hit?

I don't remember upsetting anyone, but you never know!

Paranoia
Don't worry, it's unlikely to be aimed specifically at you!

Norton call it W32.Sobig.A@mm and this page tells you all about it and how to remove it.

You are in the address book of someone who is infected, and that's a thorny issue. Do you e-mail all your clients, friends, correspondents etc., telling them to do a virus check, or do you grin and bear it? I'd suggest the former, as long as you word it nicely: someone will be grateful to you for it, though no-one will own up.
