What do clients want - survey

What do clients want - survey

Didn't find your answer?

I remember seeing a survey some time ago that asked business owners what they wanted from their accountants. I think the general result was that they didn't just want a book-keeper and a tax adviser. They wanted someone who could solve problems and offer value added as opposed to outsourced solutions.

Does anyone know where I can find the results? I thought they might be in the practice management section but I can't find them.

November last year - Sage Survey
Rob,
If it was November last year it may well have been the Sage ABC (Accountants Business Collaboration) Survey conducted by YouGov and Launchpad Research which analysed the responses from 486 accountants and 2301 businesses into the relationship between businesses and their accountant. There are some very illuminating messages here.
