The polls have opened for one of the most exciting elections in years. Have you guys done your civic duty? What's your prediction?

The polls have opened across the United Kingdom and according to pollsters the Tories and Labour are locked in a dead heat.

Polls are open until 10pm and the first results are expected just over an hour later with the majority of constituencies declaring in the early hours of Friday morning. Business manager steals thousands from primary school

A former business manager at a Northampton primary school is selling her house to pay back £42,000 she gained from theft and false accounting, the Northampton Chronicle reports.

Janet Wheeler stole over £20,000 from Simon de Senlis Primary School in Northampton after she removed cheques, created duplicate invoices and falsified documents and spreadsheets.

Tesco is losing two non-executive directors

Two non-executive directors of Tesco are leaving the retail giant as part of a brand overhaul following a £263m accounting scandal last year, reports Director of Finance.

Board member Stuart Pilkington will step down on the 26th June along with Ken Hanna, head of Tesco's audit committee.

Hanna has sat on the board since 2009 and has been head of the audit committee since 2012.
