HMRC publishes ISA transfer notes
The FT Adviser reports that the Revenue has published a new policy paper setting out that those who wish to use the new exemption from ISA 'death tax' charges will need to use the same firm as the deceased.
This change favours incumbent providers. In the last autumn statement the Chancellor revealed that ISAs will join pensions in being tax free when passed to a surviving spouse/partner.

Football clubs globally spent $4.1 on transfers
According to Fifa, this is the first time spending has risen above $4bn and is a 2.1% increase on 2013.
