In addition to potentially facing prosecutions in South Korea amid allegations it sold customer data, the chain's former chief executive Philip Clarke will face calls this week to give up part of his £10m bonus due to "inappropriate behaviour".

HMRC's tax status checks yield £131m
That's according to Construction Enquirer, who reported that crackdowns on the construction industry has shown a 7% increase in revenue from investigations - nearly double that of five years ago.
Construction tax specialists NoPalaver conducted the research through Freedom of Information.

Greene King goes after Spirit Pub
The pub chain which had a legal battle over a tax avoidance scheme with the Revenue has upped its bid for another company, Spirit Pub.
The planned deal is part of the chain's foray into restaurants and pubs that serve food.

IFA to merge with IPA in January
The Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) will merge with the Institute of Public Accountants Australia if over half of members vote to do so at a special meeting in December.
The UK body realised it "has neither the financial resources, nor the infrastructure needed for extended growth" and chose the IPA as it was a good fit. The merger will form the IPA Group in January 2015.

Bad news for trolls
According to the BBC, internet trolls could now face up to two years in jail.
Under the measures, magistrates could pass serious cases on to crown courts.
The law change is to be made as an amendment to the Criminal Justice and Courts Bill going through Parliament, and due to be debated in the House of Lords this week.
