Ricci heiress convicted of tax fraud
Arlette Ricci, heir to the Nina Ricci perfume and fashion fortune, has been convicted of tax fraud in Paris after hiding millions in an offshore HSBC account.
She was sentenced to a year in prison and ordered to pay a €1m fine, in addition to having two of her properties confiscated, the BBC said.

Tory manifesto launched today in the West
The Conservative party will launch its manifesto today, and PM David Cameron is said to pledge to extend the right to buy scheme for housing association tenants in England - up to 1.3m tenants.
In addition the Green party will launch its manifesto today, too.

Deloitte's record MG rover fine brought down to £3m
The FRC published the findings of an appeal tribunal yesterday, which saw the previous fine of £14 cut down to £3m. In addition, it reversed a three-year ban on one of the Big Four firm's partners.
