Accountant pleads guilty to stealing £1.2m

 

 

An accountant pleaded guilty to stealing more than £1.2m from his employer to fund amateur dramatics and luxury holidays for him and his bosses.

David Johnston told Peterhead Sheriff Court how he stole the money over a 10-year period from oil and gas service firm Capelrig in Aberdeen.

The money allowed Johnston to fund his own amateur dramatics production and pay for luxury holidays for his bosses.
