Website specialist and AccountingWEB sister company PracticeWEB is running a survey to help you find out whether your online marketing efforts are effective or not.

The 2012 Accountancy Profession Online Engagement survey is now up and running on the PracticeWEB site and asks participants:

  • How they use, or plan to use, social media channels
  • How they create and use content marketing
  • How they use web technology to enhance their service
  • The extent to which firms are actively using SEO techniques.

Every firm taking part will receive a benchmark report comparing its online activities to other practitioners. All information provided will be confidential and no participating firm will be identifiable in the benchmarking report.

The survey takes the form of a downloadable PDF file that will submit your responses electronically to PracticeWEB on a comprehensive range of marketing and client engagement activities.

The PracticeWEB online engagement survey and benchmarking reports are being conducted in parallel with AccountingWEB’s Practice Excellence Awards.

The results of both initiatives will be revealed at the Practice Excellence Forum on 20 September 2012 at the London Film Museum. The forum is a half day conference that will give practitioners an opportunity to gain first-hand insights from the profession’s most innovative market research and to compare experiences with other firms.

Along with PracticeWEB’s James Scanlan and Chris Arnold, speakers at the Practice Excellence Forum will include Principa and Accountants Bootcamp founder Ric Payne, AccountingWEB editor John Stokdyk and previous winners of the Practice Excellence Awards.
