BDO pursues £25m claim against Collyer Bristow

Rangers FC's liquidator BDO is pursuing a £25m claim against London-based law firm Collyer Bristow. 

The claim was originally started by Rangers administrators Duff & Phelps, called in to run the oldco on 14 February 2012 over non-payment of tax.

BDO's insolvency arm is currently in the middle of winding-up RFC 2012 PLC, formerly Rangers Football Club PLC. 

The current claim involves former Rangers owner Craig Whyte and his lawyer Gary Withey, former Collyer Bristow employee, who reportedly "deceived" board members about the 2011 takeover
