Finance teams suffer busiest expenses day
Concur has hailed 13 December as the busiest expense day of the year with finance teams facing a 139% rise in the number of claims submitted.
Staff rushing to recover the coming cost of Christmas places huge pressure on finance teams to complete last-minute submissions before the Christmas break, according to the travel and expense company.
Based on trends from thousands of companies using Concur’s technology, the firm also cited client and employee entertainment and a backlog of receipts as significant factors for the late filing.
