The government has relaunched its Business Link website with two new online resources for small businesses.

Business Link, the government’s network of consultants for small businesses, will close its physical offices on 25 November following the demise of the Regional Development Agency network.
Instead, the government is positioning BusinessLink.gov.uk as an online resource for business advice, including HMRC guidance. Business Link's 1,600 paid consultants will be replaced with 40,000 unpaid mentors.
Business minister Mark Prisk announced the two new web services yesterday during Global Entrepreneurship Week. My New Business and The Growth and Improvement Service aim to provide start-ups and small businesses with accessible information and support.
Speaking at the launch, Prisk said: "Up and down the country, dynamic, innovative entrepreneurs are creating jobs and driving sustainable economic growth. It is vital that we do all we can to help them realise their ambitions and transform the economies of their communities."
