How the Practice Excellence Awards can boost your team
Entries are now coming in for this year’s Practice Excellence Awards, which celebrate the achievements of individuals and firms across the profession.
Now in their fourth year, the awards have been expanded to recognise the contributions individuals and teams make to the success of their firms. That’s good news for anyone who is an outstanding accountancy trainee, technology enthusiast or payroll specialist, as there will be separate awards for each of these groups.
In addition to the usual prizes for small, medium and large firms, there are also categories for the most innovative firm and the one that has had the most successful growth strategy. That means there are more than twice the number of opportunities to gain nominations and recognition by taking part.
One firm that will be back again this year is South West-based Milsted Langdon, which has set the benchmark for 7+ partner firms by winning the large firm Practice Excellence Award three years in a row.
Milsted Langdon founding partner and chairman Jonathan Langdon explained: “We’ve made the award wins part of our sales proposals for new work and this has enabled us to win a number of clients from the Big Four. Linked to that is the rise in the number of referrals we now receive from other professional advisers.
