ICAS researching football finance

Professional body ICAS is researching whether or not UK football clubs should be subject to different financial reporting rules to other businesses. 

UK clubs are currently gathering data to comply with Uefa’s new financial fair play rules, which require clubs not to spend more than they earn and are aimed at making clubs more financially responsible and stable.

They could of course research something relevant to the 99% of their members who do not act for professional football clubs but what fun would that be?
